We are now looking for a Head of Strategy to build and lead our strategy offering.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes continuous discovery. You have a passion for learning and solving problems and using the power of data to create digital strategies that change the way our clients engage with their prospects and customers – and the experiences they deliver.

In this role you would be responsible for:

  • Deep involvement with client discovery to understand our client’s business, brand purpose, demand generation opportunities and their products – you will immerse yourself in their customers vertical markets so you can deliver highly relevant campaign strategies.
  • Co-leading client-facing creative briefing meetings or workshops to establish marketing goals, challenges, needs and opportunities.
  • Interpreting and articulating data-driven audience, market, and competitor research to develop exciting and compelling insights that help create messaging frameworks and buyer/user journeys
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and Head of Content, to create emotionally led Single Minded Propositions (SMPs), and Reasons To Believe (RTBs).
  • Running internal brainstorming and planning sessions to discuss and develop creative strategies, ideas, propositions, customer journeys, UX maps and multi-channel activation plans across a mix of content and digital mediums.
  • Being actively involved in writing and delivering pitches, proposals or presentations for new business and client growth opportunities.
  • Help knit together our various in-house departments, to perform as one.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Holds an advertising, marketing, or business degree (or equivalent), or 5+ years’ experience working in B2B planning departments for advertising or integrated marketing agencies.
  • Can quickly understand new vertical market segments and build deep understanding of B2B buyer personas, decision-making units and buying cycles .
  • Can independently craft SMPs (Single-Minded Propositions), RTBs (Reasons to Believe), Human Truths and Value Propositions to form briefs that will inspire creative thinking, brilliant ideas and of course award wins.
  • Examines and analyses audience/market/competitor data and turn it into key insights useful for informing strategic and creative thinking.
  • Understands the creative planning process for brand identity, brand development, awareness, and demand generation programmes.
  • Works in collaboration with creative teams and other agency departments leads (research, creative, digital, client services) to orchestrate effective marketing programmes that deliver on client goals and needs.
